We are aware that some treatments may not be affordable for all, and we try to provide alternatives to suit different budgets. To take advantage of our services please phone for an appointment. See our contact page for details.


Payment term

Please be notified that all fees must be paid at the end of a consultation or when a pet is discharged from the hospital.


Consultations

Consultations are available by appointment in mornings, afternoons and evenings on weekdays and Saturday mornings.

We can discuss with you the vaccination needs of your pet and provide these.

Medical treatment

We provide medical treatment for the wide variety of problems seen in family pets.

General surgery

General surgery including soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. We use very safe anaesthetic protocols, specific monitoring equipment, and close dedicated attention during all procedures to safeguard our patients.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics including x-rays, blood testing, urine analysis, tissue tests, etc. We use both an in house lab to provide immediate results, and referral to a specialised veterinary path lab when required.

Intensive or prolonged treatment

Hospital care for pets needing intensive or prolonged treatment. We can arrange transfer of patients if needed to an after hours clinic for continuing overnight treatment.

Internal parasite control

Routine advice for external and internal parasite control (mainly fleas and worms).

Behavioural and neurological advice

Advice and treatments for behavioural and neurological conditions. We can refer patients to experienced behavioural trainers when needed.

Prior assessment for specialist treatments

We also assess pets prior to referral for these requiring specialist treatments or specialist diagnostics. These referrals can be for medicine, surgery, imaging (including MRI) dermatology, cardiac medicine and behaviour.

After hours treatments & care

After hours treatments and care. We are shareholders in the After Hours Veterinary Clinic and our clients are encouraged to use this service when needed. The After Hours Clinic is open weeknights and weekends when we are not open ourselves.

Dietary advice

We provide premium dog and cat foods for different life stages and different activity levels. We are able to recommend the diet most suited to your pets' needs. We stock Hills Science Diet, Iams/Eukanuba and other specialised diets.

Prescription diets

We also provide a variety of prescription diets specifically formulated to help in the management of dog and cat health problems such as renal diseases, liver disease, joint disease, diabetics, etc.

Weight management

We can help and advise you in the weight management of your pets. We can determine an ideal body weight for your specific pet and provide special foods promoting weight loss safely.

Referrals to specialists

We can refer patients to specialists surgical, medical and imaging when required.

Automated self service dog wash

self dog wash service

The K9000 Dogwash System is coin/note operated automated self service dog wash. It is open for use 24 hours per day 7 days a week. Washing, shampoos, creme conditions, flea shampoos and blow dries dogs in as little as 10 minutes. The K9000 has heated warm water and a heated blow drier. This service is open even when the clinic is closed.
